Founded by Ashok Somasundaram, the studio is backed by over six years of hands-on experience in translating ideas into clear, executable designs and high-quality visual outputs.
The name NILARA is derived from Nilam (land) and Aram (essence or
virtue).
Nilam represents the physical foundation — space, structure, and context.
Aram represents purpose — thoughtful design, balance, and integrity.
Together, NILARA stands for creating grounded spaces with meaningful intent.
